Welcome to the Man from Snowy River Tourist Association
The Man from Snowy River Tourist Association (MFSR TA)
proudly supports all tourism related businesses and activities in the Upper Murray region.
This webpage is administrated by members of MFSR TA in partnership with the Marketing Upper Murray Program and Towong Shire to support and grow opportunities for tourism in the Upper Murray region of Victoria’s High Country and southern New South Wales.
All members of the committee are volunteers. Each person brings their own unique skills and interests to the team. Many of us also regularly volunteer to staff the Corryong Visitor Information Centre.
Quality merchandise relevant to Corryong and the Upper Murray is sold at the Corryong Visitor Information Centre. The profits from these sales are used to support our many projects.

Aims of The Man From Snowy River Tourist Association
- To promote and encourage tourism in the Upper Murray.
- To develop, encourage and foster community projects and activities which benefit tourism in the Upper Murray.
As the fog rolls over the hills and lifts off the land, the Upper Murray reveals its timeless beauty for another day. Here in the heart of the high country, where the Murray River begins, is the source of the life that has shaped so many industries, communities and picture book landscapes since the dawn of time.
This video is the first of a series of promotional videos featuring the Upper Murray. It has been funded by The Man from Snowy River Tourist Association. Find us on Facebook and YouTube as Upper Murray Tourism.

The untouched and pristine country will leave you wanting to strap your bikes on to the back of your vehicle and head on up to this unexplored high country, to put rubber to the road and leave the city behind to enjoy majestic scenes of rolling hills, misty valleys, towering mountains and the start of the Upper Murray, which will leave you refreshed and ready to return to everyday life.
